Today, me and colleague continue our battle about the travelling allowance.
First the admin manager gave us 1 day leave (for Saturday work) and 2 hours leave (for Thursday & Friday work @ camp). Then we said we want travelling allowance as we always have.. So she said RM20 per person deduct RM5 for each meal you take in the camp (even it's prepare by company).
We are so not satisfied with it that we continue our fight today. So...She then say, RM20 per night, the 1 day trip will be RM10, nett pay will be after you deduct the RM5. Before you can get your claim, you have to fill up a claim form and make a short report of your journey. State out time of arrival and time of depart,etc.
But after few hours, the admin manager change her mind again when the admin executive walk in to ask her. She said, your company standing order is not yet being approved by the managing director, so if you want to claim travelling allowance, I suggest to follow the rule and regulations of the other company.(which is own by the same managing director). So we agreed.
Then, the result is, RM25 per night. For day trip / The day you return is RM10. For the day you depart, you can claim RM7.50 for breakfast, but if the day you return has been provided with breakfast, then there will be no RM7.50 for you. OR, the hotel you lived provide breakfast.
RM5 meal still need to be deduct unless you bring your own food. LoL
I think if I bring my own food, there will be 2 luggages.
I just wonder why she refuse to bring out the handbook at the first place or tell us that the new standing order is still under consideration. She rather let us all mad at her and cursing every single minute. What is there to be hiding for? This is totally crazy.
Tomorrow I will submit my claim form and hopefully the ah mu who did the payroll will remember to put it in our salary in October. Aih..
