Lim Goh Tong, who would never know this name? He is the founder of Genting Highland Resort & Theme Park. He died at the age of 90 on the 23rd October at Subang Jaya Hospital. His death is a big loss for our country Malaysia.
All these while, I put Bill Gate as my idol of life, but when the news of Lim Goh Tong death out in the newspaper, I realised that we chinese do have such a great people and worth to be our own idol of life.
His achivement is unbelievable.. Imagine a young man came down to Malaya all the way from China with just a suitcase in hand and some money in the pocket. A man which can only converse in Hokkien and a little mandarine and know NO english, can be so successful and was the 3rd richest man in Malaysia.
His theme park is well known all around people in Malaysia and other countries as far as China itself. His effort wanting to put his life ahead of all people is marvellous.
Let us pray that his soul will rest in peace and may he gives all his blessings to his children, fellow employees and grandchildren a good life ahead.
Having a chance to serve the company own by the 3rd richest man of Malaysia is an honour.
I do hope one day there will be another Lim Goh Tong or maybe an even better or equal.
