I am able to turn on my personal computer today after I reach home from work,by luck, of course. I suspect that the starter button has broken, but my lizard friend said it might be the graphic card. Oh well, I'll just have to wait for the "doctor" to come and check then. As long as it still can be use, I dont mind much.
So, let me tell you what is up with the title of my blog tonight. I had a meeting with my accounts department, purchasing department together with the financial controller uncle and my new boss. So , while we were discussing some matter about the purchasing departments trying to save a few hundreds bux which resulting in a loss of few thousands. Now, that's not very reasonable isn't it?
Now, my new boss , is not a direct speech kind of guy. He dont really scold you in direct. He speaks in a.. Flowering languange. He said to one of the purchasing assistant, " What would you do if you one day arrived at office and found that you have lost your chair?" So my colleague answer him " I will go around office to look for my chair". My new boss ask again, "What if you fail to find it?". My colleague answer him again, " I would go to my boss and ask him if I can purchase a new chair". " That's right!" my new boss replied him. After that, he said that all purchasing officer should always find another way if the supplier fail to supply them with the goods they ordered. Dont stuck at 1 supplier only. Operations will be effected in a negative way if the same problem occured again.
He then said, " All of you have to learn to carry your responsibility and please use your coconut". Now here, somehow surprised me a while. I actually said in a low tone to my colleague sitting next to me , " A coconut?" and there goes all eyes stared at me =.=" For me, coconut equals to your breast.. How do you actually think with your breast.. Right? No one ever symbolize a brain with a coconut to me and today will be the first time. After that few seconds, I giggled... and giggled.. well, I manage to stop after everyone put their eyes on me ..again. From that moment on, my new boss has new nickname.. "The Coconut"
