I woke up with my panda eyes today. Hoping that my work will run smoothly as my account will be audited by some internal auditors. *sigh* It feels like you're a flower and there is some flies sticking on your petals lol... I think they will be here until this Friday. This is boring... really boring.
Well, the main point I want to talk about this company I'm currently work in, isn't about having auditors checking your stuff. It's about the travelling allowance you get when you go to work outside of town. I still remember the first year I join this company, they sent me out to camp for 3 days and 2 nights. I got around RM40 i think, for the allowance. But this morning, the admin manager came to me and say that she gave me 2 hours leave.
My brain couldn't twist back what she said so I just look at her with my eyes full of confusion but yet she just walked away. When I told my colleagues about it, she asked me to go together and ask the admin manager once again of what she meant. There, she told us, the 2 hours is for the 2 working days we use to go to camp as per the financial controller instructions. Then, I asked her, What about saturday? We spend 1 whole day at the camp too. Then she puzzled a while and said to me, she will give me 1 day leave for that Saturday. Gosh... No travelling allowance.
BUt then, my leader of account department went to talk to this admin manager in the afternoon regarding the same thing. Then the admin manager told her, If you guys want money, then will give to u according to your position but I might have to deduct RM5 for each meal you eat. Now this is the part where we are not satisfied with. Camp provide us food. It's not like we asked them to provide for us. Afterall, I think it's their responsibility to provide us food, all charges will take into company account. And somehow this admin manager want to deduct us RM5 for the meal we took, doesnt matter what we eat =_=" this is totally insane! I just dont get it.
Then she said, other company staff brought their own bread to the camp and eat just to avoid their allowance being deduct RM5. Wow.. other company? Other company has their own policy.. why must we follow? All this while this is how we get our allowance if we ever go travelling for work purpose and now she change it just like that? CRAZY bitch! damn!
I just cant accept it. We are not giving up to fight for our allowance. We are going to ask our kuching colleague who already stay at the camp for like 6 days. Do they receive any allowance? Do their allowance get deduct for RM5 for meal? I really wanted to know.
